BOY or GIRL? I thought it would be fun to do a little experiment and try all the online quizzes and old wives tales-do-it-yourself tests to see what the different outcomes are. FIRST UP….
The Age-Month Gender Test – Okay this comes from one of my friends and they say it works like 97% of the time or something. This is a simple one. Take the age you were when you conceived and the month you conceived in and add them together. Even Numbers it’s a Girl Odd Numbers it’s a Boy. (This baby 28 + 8 = 36) (Little Man 24 + 1 = 25 Odd and he was a boy)

Ancient Chinese Birth Chart – You can take this one here. This is an “ancient Chinese calendar” It states that there is a 93% accuracy.

Girl or Boy: The Heart Rate Test – To conduct the this old wives tale you simply take your baby’s heart rate in beats per minute (bpm) using a doppler or fetoscope and look at the chart: Over 140 = girl Under 140 = boy (Little Man’s heart beat was in the 140’s the entire time)

12 Week Check up: 160’s
16 Week Check up: 146
